Great Pyrenees make wonderfully family dogs due to their gentle patient nature. Their outgoing, friendly disposition make them an instant "crowd pleaser" with neighbors and family alike.
The beauty of the Great Pyrenees is unsurpassable. Most apparent is their beautiful predominately white coat, kind dark expressive eyes and that Pyrenees smile.
The breed must have double dew claws on the rear legs and are quite athletic and agile for their size. Males are generally 27"-32" at the shoulder with a 27" dog weighing l00#. Females are 25"-29" tall with a 25" female weighing 85#. Some males 32" tall can weigh l50# though they should not be as large as the Newfoundland or St. Bernard.
The Pyrenees is longer than tall, that is to day, a rectangular shape when viewed from the side. The overall size and majesty is from a balance of sufficient bone, substance and depth of body rather than coarseness.
The breed has a natural; guardian instinct to alert to strangers by barking but are not prone to biting people. They are used even today as livestock guardians. In a suburban setting they definitely require a fenced yard or will roam.
PUPPIES
All of our puppies are American Kennel Club (AKC) registered, which is the preferred breed registry in the United States and are certified purebred back to the founding of the breed.
All puppies leave with current vaccinations, deworming and health records. We also micro-chip all our pups so that should they ever be lost or stolen, they can be easily identified and returned to their owners.

These are beautiful fine representatives of the Great Pyrenees breed that may or may not have a show flaw. They are sold with AKC non-breeding papers.
